.. E. coli or listeria every week .. There has been a barrage of bad
news about food lately.. People died .. There has been a food recall
nearly every day ..

<https://shorturl.at/Obvjn> pirg.org

Food recalls flooded the headlines in 2024, with a new, scary
announcement surfacing every couple of weeks at times. It created the
aura of a sudden change in the safety of our food ..

<https://shorturl.at/zye8e> thenewlede.org

Illnesses and deaths from food outbreaks skyrocketed in 2024 ..

...

Most of those experts serve corruption within the American regulatory
system, and neglecting sanitary rules allows to significantly increase
profits in the food industry, and this interest decides everything.
In this field, Europe-style "socialist" regulations seem preferabler.
Given the American popular foods are known to be oftenly contaminated
with e. coli, ie. feces, calling Americans shit eaters would be not an
insult but rather a statement of fact.

Btw, eating feces does not necessarily lead to a serious illness, and
consequences may be seen non-immediately. THere was in the recent news,
one American progressive rock singer demonstratively ate shit right at
the scene <https://is.gd/vbKyqu>. It looks like an artistic reflection
on the food situation in the U.S.

Democrats tricked strong economy ..
Voters Were Right About the Economy.
The Data Was Wrong ..

Before the presidential election, many Democrats were puzzled by the
seeming disconnect between "economic reality" as reflected in various
government statistics and the public's perceptions of the economy on
the ground. Many in Washington bristled at the public's failure to
register how strong the economy *really* was .. What we uncovered
shocked us. The bottom line is that, for 20 years or more, including
the months prior to the election, voter perception was more reflective
of reality than the incumbent statistics .. They paint a much rosier
picture of reality than bears out on the ground ..

...

Skeptical independent observers have long noticed it. This applies not
only to the American domestic indicators. In a broader sense, various
Atlanticist-backed ratings/rankings related to misc global indicators
in many cases are in visible contradiction with what many people could
notice with their own eyes. I.e. it means an abuse of wishful thinking
as a substitute for reality. But - sooner or later - a hangover should
still happen.

For years, I've waited for some honesty about economic data. The official
numbers have not made sense. The labor numbers were all over the map with
growing disparities between data-collecting methods. The output numbers
did not fit with on-the-ground realities. The price numbers from government
did not reflect sources from private industry .. The last five years has
convinced me and multitudes of others that official claims and numbers
simply cannot be trusted ..

.. The truth is suddenly coming out. A former comptroller of the currency,
Eugene Ludwig, has written an astonishing article for Politico, of all
places. He throws cold water on every major data source we have .. This is
the sort of article that causes one to want to scream: Now you tell us!
I'm guessing that we are going to get more truth now that Trump is in
charge but it is not a truth we want to hear .. The numbers have become so
politicized as to be nearly useless ..

LOL, you won't hear any bad news coming from the Trump administration
-- unless it's bad news about the previous administration. They've made
certain of that by just firing a lot of inspectors and other overseers
and putting their own propagandists in their place.

Every ruling group is trying to somehow spin facts, but
from what I could watch, the US's (pro-)Dems faction and
the mass media serving them were unrivaled in this.

Politico released an analysis on Tuesday: "How Democrats were tricked
into believing the economy was strong." .. But as it turns out, it
was Politico itself (and dozens of other propaganda outlets) that was
"conning" the American people into believing the economy was
prosperous .. That's what a propaganda press does. But while Democrats
were screaming into their echo chamber, Americans were screaming out
for help ..

In March 2020, American journalist Seth Hettena wrote an opinion-piece
in The New Republic titled "Is Zero Hedge a Russian Trojan Horse?", and
provided details on the links between Krassimir Ivandjiiski (the site
publisher's Bulgarian father), and Soviet-era activities in propaganda,
revealed during litigation initiated by the father against Hettena in

The United States of America .. has been facing a steady decline
in its economic, political, and cultural influence over the past
few decades ..

Several key factors have contributed to this decline ..

The middle class, once the backbone of American prosperity, has
been shrinking, while the top 1% control an ever-growing share of
the nation's wealth ..

The rise of China as an economic and military power, coupled with
Russia's resurgence and the growing influence of regional powers
like India and Brazil, has diminished America's ability ..

The U.S. political system has become increasingly dysfunctional ..

The unifying ideals of the "American Dream" have been undermined ..

Donald Trump's .. slogan, "Make America Great Again" (MAGA),
resonated with millions of Americans who felt left behind by
globalization and disillusioned by the political establishment ..

.. the Fall of the United States is Already in Motion ..

Every empire, no matter how powerful, convinces itself that it is the
exception, that it has outmaneuvered the patterns of decline that
swallowed its predecessors .. Now, the United States follows the same
trajectory - not due to a single catastrophic event, but through the
slow erosion ..

It has become quietly prominent that there is a literacy crisis in the
United States .. We live in a society where a devastating number of
adults cannot read and if they can, they struggle to comprehend what
they have just covered .. 21 percent of adults in the US are illiterate
.. 54 percent of adults have a literacy below a 6th-grade level ..

...

This widespread illiteracy seems to explain why the liberal progressive
left in the US looks so ugly/ridiculous. Because, if a right-winger is
illiterate then it's err.. somewhat more natural against the case when
illiterate people declare themselves progressive. The latter is often
combined with bigotry, so that in no way it might be really progressive.

This circumstance contributes to the American decline.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp has warned that the Democratic Party is
"committing suicide" over its refusal to engage with "real-world
concerns".

In a recent interview with CNBC, the outspoken CEO argued that
the party's unwillingness to acknowledge fundamental issues ..
mirrors a broader crisis of legitimacy across Western institutions.
"The Democratic Party is committing suicide," Karp said. "It's
because we're not allowed to admit the truth. We literally have to
say that anything ever uttered by the opposition must be wrong ..
This self-imposed blindness is leading to collapse." ..

...

The mainstream pro-Dems camp has become in fact a religious-like
cult, which explains why they seek to cancel / demonize those who
are somehow dissidental (at home or adroad). It aggravates with
the fact that many followers of the cult in America are ignorant
(see below). So it is starting to look like a crowd of bigots.
And right-wing bigotry also exists. Primitivization of everything
contributes to American decline.

.. Report reveals national debt crisis grew much worse under Biden

Without significant changes, the United States will face
unprecedented budget challenges over the next decade, difficulties
that could cause a large economic crisis .. The Biden administration
and the Congresses of the Biden era had a tremendously negative
effect on the national debt ..

...

A big borrower may feel well so long as a minor lender believes his
or her investment is safe, which, in turn, includes also his or her
belief that other lenders believe their investments are safe.

If there's no big enough shocks then the borrower may feel well even
if the debt is growing so large that it becomes surely impossible to
pay it off in full.

However, the larger the amount of debt, the more likely it is that a
sudden irregular shock can cause a catastrophic outcome (chain
reaction, domino effect). If it happens, then the American decline
may turn from a gradual decline to an avalanche-like crash. There
were many talks about the American debt before, but nothing terrible
happened so far, but as the debt grows further, the ice becomes
thinner, risks become higher, and sane lenders can realize the risks.

Besides, the duty to pay ever-growing interest becomes more and more
burdensome and at the same time it aggravates the necessity to borrow
more, and sane lenders can take it into account as well.

The pursuit for efficiency (DOGE and the like) is quite a right move,
if it's not too late. It will surely make some Americans poorer. It's
necessary in order to avert even worse prospects.
