China now seems LESS threatening.

Expect Panama to import a lot MORE
Chinese too.
Trump likes to PUSH and PUNCH hard ... but
people WILL find ways to bob and weave.

Same with Colombia. China is their 2nd largest trader next to the USA.
That will change.
Another short sighted Trump fuckup.
There's a tendency to think of the USA as The World.
It's not just Trump, it's a sort of reflex we
developed after WW2.
It was kinda true for a long time, but now China is
big enough to be a major trade partner, fill-in for
the US market in many cases. China can also go kinda
political here, trade at minimal profit for awhile
JUST to undercut the USA.
Alas, once China is IN it's gonna be difficult to
get them OUT again.
It will likely take a few examples for US pols to
"get it" here. Trump and successors can't push
and threaten like they used to or more countries
will go running to Uncle Xi.
